Wichtex Rotary Rigs are designed for speed and economy of hauling, rigging, up and tear down. They also offer efficient operation with ample working area at the rotary table. Wichtex Rigs are available in seven models, in either single or double drum, with capacities up to 5,000 feet. Capacities listed below are with 4-1/2" drill pipe. Each model is available either skid-mounted or trailer-mounted.=
TRAILER-MOUNTED RIGS
Available in 7 sizes:
E-1, R-1, R-2, R-3, AND R-4 with 65' mast or derrick
R-5 and R-6 with 87' through 96' mast or derrick
All controls are grouped at the driller's position. All brakes are self-equalizing, cam-operated, fully wrapped, with removable alloy steel brake rings. All brake rings on the R-3, R-4, R-5 and R-6 are cooled by the splash system.
Drawworks, chains, sprockets, and other moving parts are fully enclosed or guarded. All bearings are ball or roller type.
